Florentina & Andrea are the daughter-and-mother creative team behind Florentina Creates™ and the MyKids Universe™!

Florentina is an intuitive, heart-centered savant artist whose extraordinary imagination and eidetic memory has created thousands of original characters, musical worlds, and vibrant works of art. Every piece is drawn by hand and reflects her joyful perspective, limitless creativity, and connection to the world around her.

Born on a train and adopted from Romania at three and a half years old, Florentina overcame extraordinary early challenges through the power of art, music, and the unwavering support of her family. Today, she spends her days creating, singing, exploring new places, meeting new friends, and bringing her colorful imagination to life.

She especially loves airplanes, travel, music, movies, and creating original MyKids Friends characters inspired by her imagination—and sometimes by the people she meets.

 

Andrea is a filmmaker, writer, producer, and director who serves as Florentina's creative partner and voice. Almost every morning, Florentina asks, "Are you working on MyKids or Zebra today?" That simple question reminds them both of their shared mission. Florentina creates the art. Andrea brings the stories to life. Together, they are the "Words & Art" team behind MyKids Universe™, creating illustrated books, animations / music videos, and films inspired by Florentina's imagination.
